In this concert, film music legend Michel Legrand, conducts and plays his most famous film music, jazz tunes, and chansons.
French composer Michel Legrand is one of the greats of film composing. During his impressive career that spanned over half a century, he composed for over 200 films and won 3 Oscars and 5 Grammys. In his lifetime, he worked with many of Hollywood's great talents from Clint Eastwood to Miles Davis. Not many composers can claim to have written for both Edith Piaf and James Bond.
In this concert, Legrand himself performs his most famous compositions with the Flemish Radio Orchestra.
