In the second half of this 1963 concert, filmed at Brussel’s Palais des Beaux-Arts, Monk continues the ultra-cool performance with two more of his original compositions. Of course, he is joined by Charlie Rouse on tenor sax, John Ore on the double bass, and Frankie Dunlop on Drums. The quartet settles into the second half of their setlist of Monk’s original compositions.
