Richard Wagner’s Das Rheingold - an epic of gods and monsters - brought to the 21st century at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.

Filmed live at Le Temps d'Aimer la Danse in Biarritz, Spanish choreographer Víctor Jiménez strips "Swan Lake" of its romantic veneer, transforming it into a bold exploration of identity and illusion.
This inspired reimagining presents white swans as embodiments of rigid order and social comfort. The black swan disrupts this pattern, carving a path toward something more honest yet uncertain. Set to Tchaikovsky's score with new music by Jorge Sarnago, Jiménez's choreography blends classical precision with rhythmic invention, demanding both physical intensity and emotional clarity from the dancers.
This is not a retelling but a confrontation. It challenges viewers to examine the distance between appearance and truth and the risk involved in revealing who we truly are.
