This 1971 drama by James Prideaux is built on the fantasies, inhibitions, and dreams of two lonely matrons, who set up competing lemonade stands along a jammed highway. Lemonade incorporates comedy and tragedy, a touch of the bizarre, and ultimately, the sincere compassion in both women.
